In our recent series on Churches and Numbers, we have focused on the book of Revelation as our primary text. It has been refreshing to hear how the Lord speaks encouragement to believers through this book.
For the next three weeks, we will return to a biblical overview of imagery in the book of Revelation by looking at trumpets throughout scripture. We'll take a sample from the Old Testament, beginning in the story of God's instructions about trumpets when he told the descendants of Israel to march around Jericho. We will then see how Paul encouraged the believers in Corinth about the last trumpets sound in the New Testament before looking again at the role of the trumpets in Revelation.
We hope you'll join us as we hear from the Lord together on Sundays at 11. If you haven't yet, consider bringing your questions and observations to share at the Wednesday Bible Discussion at noon.
